RESTORE MISSION CAMPS

WHAT IS RESTORE?

As missionary disciples with Life Teen Summer Camps, our goal is to help rebuild communities and restore hope to areas through meaningful and productive work projects.

Restore Mission Camps provides a unique summer camp experience focused on assisting communities in need through work projects and service, while growing in faith through prayer and evening sessions. Our goal is to send teens out to serve and evangelize with Christ’s heart.

Restore Mission Camps include Daily Mass, Reconciliation, Eucharistic Adoration, and other powerful prayer experiences. Our evening sessions are filled with the high-quality programming Life Teen Summer Camps are known for, led by a dynamic team of priests, hosts and musicians to break open scriptural topics to strengthen your teens relationships with one another and with the Lord.

Join us this summer for Life Teen Restore Mission Camps. Our hope is to help you encounter and serve our brothers and sisters living throughout the country. From major rebuilds to minor repair projects, we’ll have tasks led by competent and skilled volunteers to fit all skill levels. There is also time to simply sit and converse with those we are helping…this is true evangelization!

WHERE:

We are thrilled to serve two brand new communities in 2026! Ste. Genevieve, MO, home to Life Teen’s newest retreat center, Camp Cana, will be the first community we serve. We’ll spend the days serving our new neighbors and evenings meeting and sleeping at Camp Cana.

We will also be partnering with Appalachia Service Project to serve the people of Appalachia in TN or VA. The exact location will be determined by ASP in the coming months. ASP brings a proven track record and robust service network to Restore Mission Camps, ensuring we are able to provide diverse service projects while still diving deep to encounter the Lord each evenings.

November 18: Deposit payments are due for all camps. ($100/person)

February 27: Drop deadline. This is the last day to drop spots and not be responsible for the final balance payments. This is also the last day high school groups can add the optional away day in Georgia and be guaranteed space.

May 3: Final Restore balance payments of $400/person are due.

Important Note: Sign-ups are at the group level (such as a Parish Youth Ministry program, School, or Parent with teen group), we do not sign up individuals. At Restore Mission Camp, we also require that every group is responsible for providing their own daily transportation.

One of our big focuses at Life Teen Summer Camp is group-based discipleship. We want campers to come and encounter Christ, grow in their faith, and grow closer with their group. We require adult chaperones (core members) to attend camp with their group at a ratio of 1:8 gender specific. All adults must be 21+ years old and be safe environment trained and background checked in their home diocese.

Our desire is that they fully participate and journey alongside campers all week long. The relationships built at camp will help campers feel supported in their faith journey going home.

We take care of all the logistics of a week at camp so that the youth minister/adult leaders can simply focus on being relational with the campers.

RESTORE FAQ

Check-in for Missouri is between 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm on Monday. Check-in for Eastern Appalachia is between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM on Sunday. Please do not arrive earlier than 1:00 pm or later than 3:00 pm. The Group Leader and Core members will have a mandatory meeting with our camp staff at 4:00 pm and the introduction session for teens will begin at 5:00 pm. All groups will leave camp by 1:00 pm on last day (Saturday for both Missouri and Eastern Appalachia).

Nope! We completely understand that the registration process comes before you’ve even had a chance to meet your teens for the school year. We won’t ask for specific names until online paperwork is due in May.

One of our big focuses at Life Teen Summer Camp is parish-based discipleship. We want campers to come and grow in their faith, as well as grow closer with their parish family. Therefore, we require all campers to come to camp with a group.

We recommend checking with other parishes in your area to see if they’re bringing a group, or just start a group yourself! All you need to come to camp is at least two teens, and at least one chaperone of the same gender as your teens.

As a group, you are responsible for providing daily transportation to and from your work sites. We prefer cars, but can accommodate groups using a bus.

Due to the different ratios of male to female campers each week, we cannot provide exact housing information until the week before you arrive. We will do our best to house your entire group together and we will never put one teen from your group by themselves. We will give you a housing assignment but leave the assignment of specific campers to beds within these designated rooms up to you.

Camp Cana provides housing with bunk bed, bathroom, and shower. The number of beds and bathrooms varies depending on the building.

Details regarding exact housing provided by ASP for Eastern Appalachia will be shared in the coming months.

If your diocese requires other housing arrangements we are happy to work with you and your Diocesan Office of Child and Youth Protection. Please indicate this on your group leader liability form.

The Life Teen Summer Camps staff plans, prepares, and facilitates the programming, liturgies and service for each day. Each day you’ll experience daily service opportunities within the local area. You will then return in the afternoon for Mass, opportunities for the Sacrament of Reconciliation, and other powerful prayer experiences. Our evening sessions, led by a dynamic speaker, will break open scriptural topics to lead your teens into a more authentic encounter with Christ. Each day campers will enjoy two delicious meals on site, lunch at the work site, and a night-time snack with their group. Before your week, the group leader will receive an overview schedule of the week to help you prepare to led your teens best!
