October 12-14, 2026 // Life Teen Camp Cana

Ste. Genevieve, MO

Resound is a unique training and formation experience designed for Catholic musicians, worship leaders, and songwriters who desire to grow spiritually, develop their gifts, and lead others into a deeper encounter with Jesus Christ.

Who Should Attend

This event is open to all rising juniors and seniors, together with their adult chaperones—no Life Teen parish affiliation required.

  • All teens must attend as part of a group accompanied by an adult chaperone.
  • Clergy are welcome to attend with their group.
  • This conference is intended as a one-time experience for teens.
  • We recognize that strong young leaders thrive in a supportive community, so youth ministers and priests are given ample time throughout the week to engage deeply with their groups, strengthening both faith and leadership.
What to Expect

At the Life Teen Leadership Conference, teens will experience:

  • Encounter: Teens will encounter Jesus deeply in the Sacraments and authentic prayer.
  • Formation: Teens will receive practical tools, leadership training, and mentoring from Catholic leaders.
  • Mission: Teens will be commissioned to return home to build up the Church in their families, parishes, schools, and communities.

In addition, teens will experience:

  • Morning Bible Studies
  • Liturgy of the Hours with the Monks
  • XLT
  • Breakout Sessions
  • Parish Small Group Sessions

LTLC forms teens who do more than participate in your ministry–they help transform it. This experience shapes young leaders who influence their parishes, schools, and communities through faith, integrity, and service.

At LTLC, teens receive formation in communication, mentorship, prayer, and mission while being personally accompanied as disciples of Christ. They return home prepared to lead peers well, serve their parish faithfully, and live their faith with confidence and purpose.

Participants will receive a Certificate of Catholic Leadership Formation recognizing their completion of structured leadership training and their commissioning to serve in their parish and community. This certificate may be used for college applications, resumes, and leadership portfolios as a tangible sign of their formation.

If you want teens who lead in faith at Mass, in ministry, in school, and beyond, bring them where leaders are formed

More than Music

The Church doesn’t simply need better musicians. The Church needs holy musicians.
Resound is a formation experience created to help Catholic musicians and worship leaders discover how their gifts can become a pathway for evangelization and discipleship.

Participants will explore topics such as:
  • The theology and purpose of worship
  • Leading music at Mass, XLT, retreats, and prayer experiences
  • Engaging people in prayer through music
  • Relational ministry and discipleship
  • Working with pastors and parish staff
  • Building and leading volunteer teams
  • Songwriting and creative collaboration
  • Developing musical excellence
  • Technology, sound, and production
  • Humility, holiness, and the heart of a servant leader
  • Remaining faithful when ministry becomes difficult

Throughout the experience, participants will encounter Christ through daily prayer, the sacraments, community, and mentorship from experienced Catholic musicians and worship leaders.
The goal isn’t simply to play music well; it’s to help others encounter Jesus.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

In order to make this experience the best one possible for your teens, we recommend a maximum of 16 teens, 8 of each gender. But you know your parish and your teens best, so we ultimately leave that decision up to you! Remember, for up to every 8 male teens, you must have at least 1 male chaperone and for up to every 8 female teens, you must have at least 1 female chaperone. The minimum group size required is at least 3 people, made up of 1 chaperone with 2 teens (all of the same gender).

If you need to add or drop spots to your registration before May 15th please use this Add/Drop Form to make those requests. After May 15, you can only make substitutions of the same gender and age category (chaperone or youth) due to housing arrangements. If you have questions regarding this, please contact our Events Team at events@lifeteen.com.

Due to limited dorm space, we are not usually able to provide private rooms for chaperones. If you are the only chaperone of your gender attending from your parish, you might be paired with a chaperone of the same gender from another group.

Yes, you have two options to get your teen registered for the conference. You can form and register a small group comprised of yourself, your teen, and some of his or her friends. In that case you would be the group leader. We require a minimum group size of 3 and all groups must comply with the chaperone requirements. The other option is to find out if there is a parish in your area attending the conference and then you can contact the youth minister at that parish to see if they’d be willing to take your teen as a part of their group. Contact our Events Team at events@lifeteen.com to see if any groups from your area are registered.

Life Teen does not provide transportation for the conference.

We would love for you to concelebrate! We ask that you please bring your own vestments (alb & stole). And be sure to submit your Letter of Good Standing ahead of time.

Youth participants must be rising juniors or seniors. Teens can only attend LTLC once. The event is not intended for teens to attend not multiple years. All chaperones must be 21 years of age or older. All participants must be registered as part of a group with a group leader taking responsibility for adhering to the payment, cancellation, paperwork, and event policies.

We do have a very limited amount of scholarships available for teens to attend LTLC. If you have a teen in great financial need, please download this scholarship application and submit it.

We always do our very best to accommodate your needs; however, it never hurts to bring some snacks just in case.
