Intercessory Prayer

1. There are four stages of prayer: (1) talking “at” God, (2) talking to God, (3) listening to God, and (4) being with God.
2. Our prayers are not always answered in the ways we hope or according to our specific requests.
3. Asking on behalf of another through intercessory prayer is characteristic of a heart attuned to God’s mercy.
