How do registration requests work?
Great question! On October 5 at 12:00 pm ET you will find a form link here on this page. The form will ask what weeks of camp you are able to attend, ask you to rank your top three weeks, let us know what weeks of camp you can absolutely not attend, how many spots you’d like to register for, and whether or not you’d like to participate in the away day if you are registering for a Life Teen week of camp. Once requests close on October 7 the camps team will go to work fulfilling requests and making sure as many people as possible are able to attend camp! On November 9 we will re-open registration as a first come, first served system.
How does the optional away day work?
During registration requests you will let us know if you’d like to add the away day to your registration. Life Teen groups at Covecrest will be going white water rafting and Life Teen groups at Hidden Lake will be going kayaking/canoeing and zip-lining. Your entire group must participate in the away day, there is no option to register half a group for this item. Groups that register for camp after March 1 can not be guaranteed a day away activity, but we will do everything we can to make it possible.
What if we don’t want to participate in the away day?
Not a problem! We are excited to be able to offer some fun, new camp activities to your daily rotations if you choose not to spend a day off camp.
Who comes to camp?
Life Teen camp is for high school teens, those teens entering 9th grade in Fall 2022 to those who will have graduated in the Spring of 2022. EDGE camp is for middle school youth, those entering 6th grade in Fall 2022 to those who will have graduated 8th grade in the Spring of 2022. At both camps we require adult chaperones at a ratio of 1:8 gender specific.
