DESCRIPTION
St. Peter Chanel exists to see people Fully Alive, Rooted in Christ, Reflecting His Love and Mercy. The Team Leader of Student Outreach helps bring this vision to life for middle school, high school, and college students by building a ministry rooted in prayer, relationships, discipleship, and mission. This person has a passion for seeing the next generation thrive in their God-given identity.
This role is not simply about running programs. It is about building a parish-wide culture of care for young people by recruiting, forming, and supporting adult volunteers who can walk with students, build trust with families, and help young people encounter Jesus and find their place in the life of the Church.
The right person will genuinely love young people, listen well, and adapt ministry approaches based on what is bearing fruit in an ever-changing culture. This person should be comfortable learning from current research, asking good questions, and building relationships with parents, parish leaders, schools, nonprofits, and other organizations serving young people.
The ideal candidate is prayerful, humble, relational, organized, creative, and steady; someone who can connect with young people while earning the trust of parents, volunteers, clergy, and staff. We are looking for someone willing to build, rebuild, listen, adapt, and lead while continually pointing young people toward Jesus Christ and the life of the Church.
St. Peter Chanel is located in Roswell, GA on a campus which includes a K-8 school, 9-12 school, and retirement community.
