Social Media Intern – Life Teen Summer Camp

DESCRIPTION

Position Summary:

Responsible for the creation of engaging content to help tell the story of each week of camp and share how the Lord is moving. Make a consistent effort to capture as much as possible of the teens participating in camp activities. Communicate with the Coordinator of Digital Evangelization regarding the progress of each week’s content.

Essential Ministry Functions / Responsibilities:

  • Create written, video, and photo content for each week of camp that highlights the campers’ experiences throughout each week.
  • Creatively capture footage of campers participating in camp activities.
  • Brainstorm new campaigns that would allow for Life Teen and Life Teen Missions’ media presence to draw others in to closer and/or an initial relationship with Christ – Communicate with creative support team on progress of reels, videos, and posts and share drafts throughout the week
  • Capture video and written testimony of camper experiences throughout each week
  • Curate a top 10 photos taken each week by the Photo Intern
  • Assist with social media postings, special projects, and relational ministry whenever possible.
  • Ensure equipment is organized and safe at all times.
  • Ensure timely attendance to all scheduled camp activities.
  • Maintain consistent communication with Program Coordinator on any schedule changes.
  • Practice obedience to the Life Teen Summer Missions Rule of Life.
  • Complete other tasks and projects as needed.

  • Ability to work independently and to also work collaboratively as a team when needed.
  • Strong ability to take initiative and remain self-motivated with superior time management skills

  • Ability to humbly take direction and correction.
  • Superior social skills and a strong sense of hospitality towards all guests.
  • Ability to learn and implement new methods in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in managing organization or club social media pages
  • Experience in creating and editing content
