DESCRIPTION
Position Summary:
The Facilities Manager serves as the operational leader of the camp’s physical property, ensuring that every building, guest space, utility, road, trail, activity area, and piece of equipment consistently reflects Life Teen’s commitment to excellence, stewardship, and radical hospitality. Working in close partnership with the Director of Facilities, the Facilities Manager transforms long-term facilities strategies into daily operational excellence by overseeing maintenance operations, coordinating repairs, leading preventative maintenance efforts, and ensuring the property remains safe, functional, and prepared to support every aspect of camp ministry. The Facilities Manager provides direct leadership to the Assistant Facilities Manager while coordinating the daily work of the Facilities Team. While the Director of Facilities focuses on the long-term stewardship and strategic development of the property, the Facilities Manager champions the daily condition of the campus—ensuring that ministry is never hindered by preventable maintenance issues or operational deficiencies. Ultimately, the Facilities Manager recognizes that every repaired cabin, maintained trail, functioning utility system, and well-prepared meeting space contributes to creating an environment where young people, missionaries, volunteers, parish leaders, and guests can encounter Jesus Christ through the radical hospitality of Life Teen.
