Responsible for developing a parish based pastoral ministry with junior high, high school and young adult youth in the faith community, including Confirmation preparation, make-up preparation for the Sacraments of Initiation and RCIA adapted for Youth, and organizing and facilitating high school youth group activities. Provides for formal catechesis and invites and enables youth to serve others. Develops close communication with and mutual support from families of youth, parish community, pastoral staff and diocesan personnel.

• Find and Coordinate volunteers to teach and help Confirmation, high school programs
• Establishes relationships with middle school-high school and push them to discpleship
• Develops Confirmation (both in the school and at the parish), High School Youth Group, and make-up Sacraments of Initiation & RCIA adapted for Youth programs
• Reviews, selects and acquires suitable curricula/materials for formational programs that reflect the guidelines of the diocese and parish, as well as the National Catechetical Directory, Renewing the Vision and the USCCB Conformity Listing of Catechetical Texts and Series
• Plans, coordinates, and implements retreats at each program level
• Develops a relationship with parents that foster open communication between parents & youth
• Invites and assists in training youth as liturgical ministers for parish community liturgies
