DESCRIPTION
The Director of Youth Discipleship Program Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, developing, and leading
Sacred Heart Cathedral’s Youth Discipleship faith formation program. Under the supervision of the Associate Pastor of Youth and Young Adult Ministry, the Director will oversee the Sunday evening faith formation program for
high-school teens and coordinate various high-school discipleship small groups throughout the week. The Director
will also implement and oversee the Confirmation program with an emphasis on lifelong faith formation and
discipleship. In addition, the Director will develop the faith formation program for middle-school students that will provide a seamless transition into the high-school Youth Discipleship program.
The Cathedral of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus is a vibrant and growing parish that is highly diversified in ethnic mix, age, and socioeconomic status. There are over 3,200 registered families with approximately 9,500 members.
