DESCRIPTION
Church of the Epiphany is seeking a passionate, full-time Youth Minister to lead our Life Teen (high school), Edge (middle school) and Purpose (Confirmation) programs. Primary Responsibilities
• Curriculum Implementation: Adapt and deliver engaging Life Nights and Edge Nights using the Life Teen and Edge curriculum frameworks.
• Relational Ministry: Accompany youth through mentoring, intentional discipleship, and being a visible witness of the Gospel.
• Core Team Mobilization: Recruit, train, and form a strong “Core Team” of adult volunteers to facilitate small groups.
• Sacramental Prep: Lead Confirmation preparation and youth liturgies.
• Retreats & Events: Lead teens to Steubenville Conferences, summer camps, local retreats, and service projects.
• Family Engagement: Partner closely with parents, providing resources to help them continue faith conversations at home.
• Administration: Manage the youth ministry budget, safety compliance, and Life Teen/Edge digital resource platforms.
Required Qualifications
• Faith Life: Practicing Catholic in good standing, faithfully living out Church teachings.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Theology, Catechetics, Youth Ministry, or a related field preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience working with Life Teen and Edge frameworks a plus. Training is available.
• Safe Environment: Must successfully pass background screening and complete all required Safe Environment training.
• Schedule Flexibility: Willingness to work a non-traditional schedule including evenings, weekends, and overnight trips.
• Core Skills: High relational energy, strong organizational ability, and familiarity with youth culture.
