Sometimes praying directly about our vocations can actually distract us from discovering them, or from allowing God to bring us to them in His time. If we’re always asking God to “please-please-please show us which vocation we’re supposed to choose,” then we risk the chance of missing the meaning of the experiences we’re having in the present that will inform our vocations in the future.
Heaven is where souls live in endless union with God, loving and praising Him and praying for souls not yet in heaven.
You can choose to cling onto your time, talent, and treasure. Or you can be a part of what He’s doing. What’s your move going to be?
Your heart is the source of life. And in order to receive the gifts God has for you it must be open. It can’t be barricaded and kept away from the Lord.
Remember, most of your romantic relationships will end – so when you initiate a break up, will you be courageous, respectful, clear, and kind?
This year the theme of our Annual Appeal is "His Mission, Our Move" and it got me wondering... why are my fellow co-workers and Life Teen missionaries part of this mission?
“Do you think they’re going to get divorced?” I would whisper fearfully to my brother.
I came up with 51 ideas based off of corporal works of mercy that you can do throughout the year. Some are easy everyday things, others are something you can do with a group of friends, youth group, or even as a service project in college.
Serving as a missionary family in Haiti has been one of the hardest things I have ever done. And in my human weakness and resisting to give it all over to the Lord, I sometimes want to leave.
