DESCRIPTION
The Office of Youth Ministry of the Archdiocese of St. Louis is seeking a highly organized, mission-driven leader to serve as Coordinator of Events. This role sits at the heart of our ministry, helping bring to life transformative experiences where young people encounter Christ and are empowered to live as His disciples.
The Coordinator of Events oversees the planning, execution, and follow-up of major youth ministry initiatives serving anywhere from small parish gatherings to large-scale events welcoming thousands of participants. Working collaboratively with a dynamic team, this position blends pastoral sensitivity with strong administrative and logistical leadership to ensure events are welcoming, well-run, and grounded in prayerful hospitality.
As Conference Director for Steubenville STL Mid-America 1 & 2, the Coordinator plays a key leadership role in some of the largest youth events in the country, while also providing shared leadership in forming and supervising summer interns and supporting volunteers. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who loves both the big picture and the details—someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and finds joy in helping others succeed.
If you are passionate about youth, gifted in organization and collaboration, and eager to serve the mission of the Church through meaningful events, this role offers a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact across the Archdiocese of St. Louis.
The Office of Youth Ministry exists to walk alongside leaders as they help young people encounter Jesus Christ and grow as His disciples in their parishes and in the world. Through formation, training, and meaningful events, we support those doing the day-to-day work of youth ministry with care, encouragement, and practical tools.
We’re a close-knit, mission-driven team that works hard, laughs often, and genuinely supports one another. Our office culture is collaborative and relational—rooted in prayer, trust, and a shared love for young people and the Church. While our work can be fast-paced and busy, we approach it with flexibility, creativity, and a sense of joy.
