DESCRIPTION
Saints Mary and Mathias Catholic Church in Muscatine, Iowa, is seeking a full-time Coordinator of Youth Formation and Evangelization to accompany middle and high school students as they grow in relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church. This position plans, coordinates, and implements youth formation, evangelization, and sacramental preparation for grades 6–12, including small groups, Confirmation preparation, retreats, conferences, service opportunities, and large-group gatherings. The coordinator recruits, trains, and supports adult volunteers, collaborates closely with parish staff, communicates with teens and parents, and helps galvanize youth and families into active parish life. The ideal candidate is an actively practicing Catholic with theological formation, ministry experience, and the ability to work evenings and weekends. Salary range is $45,000–$50,000 with benefits.
