DESCRIPTION
A vibrant faith community of approximately 2500 families is seeking a full-time Campus Youth
Minister to lead and inspire middle and high school students (grades 6–12) in their journey of
faith. Serving approximately 120 students each year, this role centers on forming young disciples
through a dynamic program built on the LifeTeen framework — fostering a deeper relationship
with Christ through community, catechesis, worship, and service.
The ideal candidate will bring creativity, warmth, and organizational excellence to every aspect
of youth ministry. This person should be both a visionary leader and a hands-on planner, capable
of balancing formation and evangelization with the administrative and relational needs of a
thriving program.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and implement a comprehensive youth ministry program grounded in the LifeTeen
large group model, integrating faith formation, evangelization, service, and social
connection.
Coordinate sacramental preparation for Confirmation, included within the LifeTeen
model, using a two-year formation approach.
Build community among students from various educational settings, uniting them
through shared faith experiences, retreats, service projects, and parish events.
Recruit, train, and support volunteer teams, catechists, and peer leaders who serve
within the program.
Communicate consistently with parents, volunteers, and parish leadership through
multiple platforms (email, social media, newsletters, etc.).
Plan and oversee fundraisers, service initiatives, and special events aligned with
program goals.
Maintain accurate records for registration, attendance, and program finances while
ensuring all policies and safe environment protocols are met.
Collaborate with parish staff and ministry teams to align youth initiatives with the
broader mission of the community.
Contribute to annual planning and budgeting, providing progress updates and
evaluation of program outcomes.
St. Mark Catholic Church is a growing parish of about 2,000 families. The parish has over 500 students in Preschool to 8th grade school and over 200 students in sacramental preparation, youth ministry and faith formation programs.
