Believe it or not, young people need to hear YOUR story.
SPIRITUS is hiring Catholic young adults (ages 19–29) for the 2026–2027 mission year. From August to May, missionaries serve on a team that travels Wisconsin leading retreats for Catholic youth (grades 2–12). Internship opportunities in youth ministry, discipleship, and social media are also available.
Requirements: Active, practicing Catholic (baptized and confirmed), high school graduate (college preferred but not required), with leadership and public speaking experience – or a willingness to grow.
Benefits: Food and lodging, monthly pay, health insurance, free gym membership, NO fundraising, mentoring, weekly formation, spiritual direction, and $3,000 upon completion. Opportunities for advancement are available after the first year.
Hiring NOW on a rolling basis with a start date of Aug. 16, 2025.
Retreats, when done well, provide opportunities for students to connect their head with their heart. SPIRITUS has been offering youth retreats for over 17 years and continues to foster ways in which students can encounter our Lord. Reaching 5,000 Wisconsin students each year, missionaries share their testimony as part of the new evangelization. We hire 19 young adults, with no fundraising needed by the missionary, so they may grow in their faith, grow in community, and share their love of Jesus with others.
