About this year's retreat theme:

The 12 stones of remembrance are significant not only for Israel but also for us as men. As Christians, we have been adopted into God’s eternal family (Romans 8:15; Galatians 3:26), which means we are the sons of the Most High. We, too, can reflect and remember God’s faithfulness and providence just as Israel did in the Old Testament. Even though we may not erect a memorial site with 12 stones, we can still remember God’s faithfulness to us and His Promises.

It is important to remember what God has done in the past for us to have hope for the future and to know what to do when we are going through dark seasons of life.

With this knowledge and faith, we must move forward.

But moving forward and answering God’s will can mean different things. Remembrance gives us the courage to step out into the unknown and trust His will as we strive to fulfill it.

Are you willing to reflect on and remember the Lord’s promises in your life, how you’ve fulfilled them, and, in TRIBUTE, pave the way for those who come after?
