Life Teen Father Son Retreat- Join us this October!
For over 40 years, Life Teen has led the way in youth ministry, answering the call of teenagers who long for a stronger relationship with their fathers. Building on a solid foundation of leading men’s retreats, and in response to this critical need, Life Teen is excited to introduce ourĀ Father Son Retreat.
Why We Started This Retreat
The father/son relationship is one of the most vital bonds in our world. Through this connection, behaviors and beliefs are shaped, strengthened, and sometimes, in need of repair. Our goal is to transform and anchor the father/son relationship in Christ. Participants will leave with a 30-day commitment to each other, forming a lifelong bond that will be tested but never broken.
What to Expect
This three-day retreat is uniquely focused on strengthening the father/son (ages 12-18) relationship through engaging outdoor activities like ropes courses, blobbing into the lake, canoeing, hiking, and evening bonfires. Thought-provoking talks will foster deep conversations on topics such as “What is lifeās purpose?”, “What it means to be a man,” “How to grow healthy relationships with women,” and “How to heal and move forward.”
Focus on Practical Tools to Implement
Scripture highlights the profound bond between fathers and sons, from Abraham and Isaac to Jacob and Joseph, and ultimately, Joseph and Jesus. As young men transition into adolescence, many fathers feel unequipped to navigate the complex topics and challenges that arise, unsure of how to guide their sons through the misconceptions of manhood. This retreat addresses these challenges, offering concrete, practical guidance.

The graces that have come out of this time with my son have been transformational for us both. I always thought I had a good relationship with him, but now itās on another level.”
ā James from St. Petersburg, FL
“The father/son retreat was, without a doubt, the best thing we have done together. It was structured in a way to provide time for both instructional growth and informal bonding and leisure time. We will both remember the things we learned and value the time spent together for a long time.”
ā Ā Dan from Kingwood, TX
