DESCRIPTION

Holy Family Parish in Inverness, Illinois, is seeking an enthusiastic and energetic Youth Minister to work with our vibrant and growing group of teens. Applicants must be committed to accompanying teens on their journey of faith and empowering them to grow in relationship with Christ and live their faith. Some responsibilities include:

Plan and execute the Teen programs and events at Holy Family and beyond, addressing the spiritual, social, and emotional needs of youth.
Organize and lead engaging youth gatherings, retreats, service projects, and other events that inspire and empower young people to walk in faith.
Providing leadership, pastoral care, mentorship, and guidance to youth.
Support and collaborate with the dynamic team of Family Teen Faith.
Communicate with parish leadership, volunteers, and parents to create a supportive and nurturing community for youth within the larger church family.
Recruit, train, empower and lead volunteers to serve in various capacities within the youth ministry program.
Stay informed about current trends, resources and best practices in youth ministry, and integrate them into the programs and initiative.
