Administrative Assistant

DESCRIPTION

Are you passionate about equipping Catholics with the call to be missionary disciples and restoring hope to communities in need? Catholic Mission Trips, Inc. (CMT) is looking for an individual to manage the daily operations of CMT. This is a part-time, remote position. The ideal Administrative Assistant will be detail-oriented, passionate about the mission of CMT, and effective at communication.

Compensation Package:

  • Salary is fundraised. Must be fully funded before beginning ministry.
  • Healthcare or other benefits not provided

Responsibilities:

  • Read and respond to emails daily
  • Answer phone calls and return messages
  • Recruit new groups
  • Write and send contracts to group leaders
  • Maintain the master schedule and other shared spreadsheets and documents
  • Follow up with group leaders and individuals
  • Transition group leaders into communication with the Site Coordinator or Director of Missions
  • Send invoices
  • Send evaluation forms
  • Create and send mission reports
  • Complete other duties as assigned by the Executive Director

Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Attention to detail, especially concerning grammar
  • Working knowledge of G Suite for Nonprofits or Word Suite
  • Organizational skills
  • Access to reliable internet and phone service
  • Initiative to work independently
  • Humility to ask questions

Catholic Mission Trips, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)3 equipping Catholics with the call to be missionary disciples. We offer short-term foreign and domestic mission trips for youth groups and college students to serve the poor & rebuild communities in need.
