Mission Statement
At Life Teen Camp Cana, every role is a calling to ministry. As a member of the founding community of our newest camp, the Guest Relations Coordinator plays a vital role in cultivating an environment where guests can encounter Christ through authentic hospitality. This mission is lived out through careful coordination, communication, and administration that reflect the beauty and order of God’s love.
Leadership, Oversight & Ministry
- Foster a culture of radical hospitality, living the truth that Christ is both the Guest and the Host within us.
- Coordinate all retreat and guest group bookings, serving as the primary point of contact before, during, and after their time at camp.
- Serve as retreats coordinator for visiting groups and special guests, ensuring each experience is prayerful, organized, and welcoming.
- Assist in the coordination, planning, and execution of all “Special Events” hosted at Life Teen Camp Cana.
- Partner with the Camp Director to manage staff, contractor, and overall camp scheduling.
- Communicate cleaning needs and expectations to the cleaning crew and ensure facilities are ready for guests.
- Manage and report routine Cana expenses and revenue to the Life Teen Finance Team.
- Oversee general office management, including supply ordering, equipment maintenance, and office cleanliness.
- Coordinate seasonal camp decorations and ensure chapel supplies are kept stocked.
- Oversee management of the Camp Store (Outpost) and Art Barn, ensuring both spaces serve guests well and reflect camp values.
- Manage all camper paperwork, including medical forms, parental authorizations, and liability waivers.
- Manage, train, and minister to summer staff serving in the office, Outpost, Art Barn, and creative media roles (photographer and videographer).
- Serve youth ministers and group leaders in booking retreats, creating contracts, and closing finances.
- Complete other tasks and projects as needed to support the mission of the camp.

- Adhere to the Rule of Life and Community Standards, setting an example of servant leadership and hospitality.
Success Factors
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer literacy; adaptable to new technologies.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Catholic faith and Life Teen’s mission.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage personnel, volunteers, and projects effectively.
- Well-developed sense of workflow, time management, and prioritization of tasks.
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service and hospitality with a servant’s heart and ministry mindset.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Creative eye for aesthetics and detail in decorating, event setup, and environment creation.
- Collaborative spirit and ability to work well as part of a team.
- Experience in a camp, retreat, or hospitality setting preferred.
Reporting Structure
- Reports to: Camp Director
- Works closely with: Facilities Manager, Facilities Director, and Life Teen Finance Team
- Supervises: Seasonal summer staff serving in office, Outpost, Art Barn, and creative media roles
