Some years ago on June 4th a foursome got together for a round of golf. One of the players had lost his son in a tragic accident on that day in 1994. Rather than mourn the loss, they decided to celebrate his son’s life. A couple of years later, another who had also experienced the loss of child joined the group. The idea was born to honor these “angels” with an annual Angels Among Us golf outing.
This tournament is a memorial to all of our “angels”—those loved ones who have already been taken to heaven. In the name of the “angels” all tournament proceeds benefit Life Teen Summer Camps, a Catholic ministry committed to leading teens and their families closer to Christ. This year, Life Teen Summer Camps will take place in the US, Haiti, Europe, and New Zealand with over 5,400 campers attending!
