Covecrest is more than a retreat center and summer camp. Covecrest is a community of Catholics committed to transforming teens, transforming parishes, and transforming culture. Will you join us?

The Steubenville Youth Conferences, an outreach of Franciscan University of Steubenville, are a series of 24 conferences across North America that help teens encounter the love of Christ every summer. Each summer, Life Teen hosts several Steubenville Youth Conferences with the hopes of strengthening and inspiring teens and youth groups in their collective journeys to Christ.
We are offered a future full of hope. That future, however, will not simply arrive at our doorstep. We must co-labor with Christ as he speaks hope into this world. A future of hope starts with the youth of today. They are tomorrow’s prophets and apostles, developers and doctors, teachers and preachers, athletes and artists, mystics and martyrs. How they are shaped today will be how they shape tomorrow.
There are many women who are a vital part of salvation history and their stories are critical parts of Sacred Scripture. This scriptural devotion will inspire young women to raise their heads along with Mary, Martha, Lydia, and Esther and look into the eyes of Jesus, the God who loves deeply and perfectly.
You are going to make thousands of decisions today and one of them might change your life. Are you confident that what you want and what God want are the same thing? Don’t leave it up to chance - leave it in the hands of the Holy Spirit.
Edge helps middle schoolers unleash who they were created to be, in Christ.
Life Teen strengthens our teens' Catholic identity, while rooting them firmly in Christ and in His Church.

In the world of working with teenagers, MINISTRY. NEVER. ENDS.
I don’t know about you, but the teens at my parish often drove a nicer car than I ever did. In fact, when I graduated college, my first grown up purchase was a car. It was from the showroom of a local dealership, which helped save some money. To help […]
“I have so much to do!” Ever said those words? I hope you’re laughing because you likely have at some point this week, if not sometime already this day. I know I’ve had it on repeat in my head. The other day a youth minister told me that she worked […]
Oh if I had a dollar for every time I uttered those words in parish youth ministry, I certainly wouldn’t be playing the lottery this month! I’m Kidding. Each time I mentioned it, I’m pretty sure I was never actually definitive on quitting. I said that numerous times because I […]
Just shy of four years ago, I became a mom to a spunky, blue-eyed, fair-skinned redhead girl who has taught me a lot about myself, my life, and my relationship with God. Whether it’s excitement over some free stickers at the dentist office, or a complete meltdown because I asked […]
Confession: I love binders. When I was working in the parish, the following gave me joy (in no particular order): Mass at the end of a retreat Taco Tuesday A Clean youth room Lunch with middle schoolers The month of August My Core Team And… Binders I loved the binders […]
Can I paint you a picture for a minute? Not one of those fancy, artistic and creative pictures, but the real life chaos that sometimes invades my day. I’m sure you’ve been there. Whether in your personal, ministry or spiritual lives, “those” days happen. It was a Monday, you know […]
Dad, Happy Father’s Day! I could write the usual “dad’s day” stuff I write in every card, every year, for the last 20+ years. I know what I’ve written and said and colored because you’ve kept everything. I saw them all tucked away in a box in your office a […]
I love cleaning. My vacuum is one of my best friends. Okay, not really, but the OCD nerd inside of me did get excited about the new dustbuster I just purchased. I guess because deep down cleaning gives me a sense of control. I used to say that either my […]
