This world does not make it easy to be a good man. What we need are good brothers to help us along the way. Men we can learn from and grow with. Men who've struggled and men who've surrendered to the Holy Spirit working in their lives.
We have a Messiah who enters into our mess. Messiah: Stories of Advent shares the testimony of several individuals who came to this realization in their lives and encountered God in the midst of the mess of doubt, relationships, and loneliness.
In My Encounter: How I Met Jesus in Prayer, Chika shares her journey of prayer — the highs and lows, the joys and the challenges. Her story will inspire you to dive deeper into prayer, even when it’s difficult, and give you hope, encouraging you to trust in the fact that you are not alone.

Have you ever been pursued? The idea of someone “chasing us” can bring up different images in our mind. On the one hand, being chased by someone or something can be frightening. On the other hand, the idea of someone pursuing us is flattering, but perhaps we wonder what their motives actually are.
The Catechism of the Catholic Church says that “in every time and in every place, God draws close to man.” God pursues us. God is continually chasing us, but not to harm us or for His own gain. God pursues us out of love. And God’s pursuit is not like the pursuit of others that might grow tired or give up on us. God is relentless in seeking us out.
Every year, the Life Teen staff prays for a theme to guide our efforts and reflections. This year, two words continually came to mind – Relentless Father. We believe that the Holy Spirit wants to do big things through this theme and remind us of God’s insurmountable love as our Father, His tireless pursuit of our souls, and that there is no boundary that God will not approach – even death – in order to save us.
Join us as we break open this theme through our conferences, camps, and events throughout the year. God is our Relentless Father and He has been seeking you yesterday, today, and up until your final breath. The challenge for all of us this year will be how we respond to this incredible pursuit.
“Indeed, goodness and mercy will pursue me all the days of my life.” – Psalm 23:6

We want to help you break open this theme throughout the year with high quality resources. Download the theme wallpapers as a reminder of God’s continual pursuit and love for you every time you open your phone or sit down at your computer.
If you are a youth minster, we’ve created two resources for your junior high and high school teenagers. For high school teens, we’ve created three Life Nights you can use as a summer send-off series or as a fall kick-off series to help teens dive into the Relentless Father theme.
We’ve also created an Edge Night on the theme for junior high students. Consider adapting this resource to create a parent session, as well, and draw your entire community into the annual theme.
Finally, bookmark this page. We will post new resources, blogs, and products here throughout the year to help you continually dive deeper into our reflection of who God is as our Relentless Father.
