Covecrest is more than a retreat center and summer camp. Covecrest is a community of Catholics committed to transforming teens, transforming parishes, and transforming culture. Will you join us?
Hidden Lake is home to an incredible Catholic community, gorgeous views, welcoming meeting spaces and so much more. Dedicated to leading teens closer to Christ, we hope you'll be welcomed home to Hidden Lake soon.
The Steubenville Youth Conferences, an outreach of Franciscan University of Steubenville, are a series of 24 conferences across North America that help teens encounter the love of Christ every summer. Each summer, Life Teen hosts several Steubenville Youth Conferences with the hopes of strengthening and inspiring teens and youth groups in their collective journeys to Christ.
Life Teen’s Catholic Youth Ministry Convention has become America’s premier event for everyone involved in parish youth ministry. Why? Maybe it’s because we are different. We believe in practical, comprehensive youth ministry training. But we don’t think that’s enough. That’s why we incorporate elements of a spiritual retreat into the training convention. Because youth ministry isn’t about what you know, it’s Who you know.
There are many women who are a vital part of salvation history and their stories are critical parts of Sacred Scripture. This scriptural devotion will inspire young women to raise their heads along with Mary, Martha, Lydia, and Esther and look into the eyes of Jesus, the God who loves deeply and perfectly.
You are going to make thousands of decisions today and one of them might change your life. Are you confident that what you want and what God want are the same thing? Don’t leave it up to chance - leave it in the hands of the Holy Spirit.
Edge helps middle schoolers unleash who they were created to be, in Christ.
Life Teen strengthens our teens' Catholic identity, while rooting them firmly in Christ and in His Church.
A Virtual Life Teen Retreat on Seeing Jesus
There’s a big difference between seeing and recognizing what it is you’re looking at. That clarity can be the difference between trust and fear, freedom and guilt, and even life and death.
As 2020 rolls on, your teens have seen the first fruits of a culture of death. Countless images of division and destruction flood their curated feeds showing them more than any eye – or heart – should ever have to see, let alone bear.
But Hope has never been far off. With each step, Hope has walked with them. Though blurry and unknown, they just have yet to recognize Him, and will soon see the light that shines before them – they will see Jesus.
Ministry must go on. Regardless of season or circumstance, your heart stirs to find new ways to lead teens into a life-changing moment with Jesus. You know that once they see Him as He is, everything changes. The struggle is worth it, and we want to support you in that effort.
Realizing the limits of many social and safety guidelines, we know one area that might be affected is retreat ministry. Though the typical retreat experience might not be possible, we still believe it’s worth the effort to create something reminiscent of these powerful opportunities to encounter Jesus.
This fall we want to partner with you to create a moment of encounter for your teens through Vision, a virtual retreat focused on seeing Jesus in the midst of life’s journey.
Registered group leaders will receive a more in-depth guide to the retreat, but here’s a sneak preview of the content:

We have designed this virtual retreat to be adaptable to as many parish situations as possible. You can choose to gather your group to participate live during the retreat weekend or you can gather at a later date – whichever works best for you! The retreat sessions will be recorded and available to registered groups until Dec. 31, 2020.
While it is recommended that you gather your teens in person for the fullest experience of this virtual retreat, we do understand that some areas of the country are still facing COVID-19 restrictions and may not be able to gather their teens locally at their parish. Parishes in this situation should set up virtual methods (such as Zoom or Google Hangouts) to journey with their participating teens throughout the retreat.
Our production team will be working hard to get the session recordings online and available to you as soon as possible. We expect each session to be posted on the retreat platform approximately an hour after the session is completed. Session recordings will be accessible to registered groups until December 31, 2020.
We have designed the schedule so that there is a lot of flexibility for individual parishes during the local portions of the event. This way, you have the ability to modify those aspects according to what is pastorally best and logistically feasible for your group!
Unfortunately, this event is not open for individual registration. The only way to participate is to be registered as part of a parish group. We’d be happy to let you know if any parishes from your area are registered. Just email us to ask!
This retreat is exclusively available to parishes with a current subscription to Life Teen, Edge, or Purpose. If you don’t subscribe, we’d love to talk with you about how we can support you through our resources! For more info on subscriptions and to chat with a member of our team about it, click here.
If you are local to the area and interested in bringing teens to camp to attend the retreat in person, please contact Amanda Grassi at email@example.com to discuss the possibility of doing so.
Please contact our team at firstname.lastname@example.org with any additional questions you have.
