VOLUNTEER INFORMATION

Steubenville West will take place at the Tucson Convention Center in Tucson, AZ on July 12-14, 2024.

We rely on the dedication and generosity of volunteers to make the Steubenville West Conference successful. Please prayerfully consider joining us to serve the nearly 2,000 participants that will gather for this life-changing weekend.

Our theme this year is Illuminate, based on John 1:5, ā€œThe light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.ā€

VOLUNTEER INTEREST NEXT STEPS

If you are interested in volunteering at the conference, please read the details and expectations below and then complete the volunteer interest form.

Please note: submitting a volunteer interest form does not mean that you have been accepted as a volunteer for the conference.Ā After completing your interest form you can expect to hear from someone on our team within a few weeks to let you know whether or not we will have a volunteer role for you to fill at the conference this year.

VOLUNTEER DETAILS & EXPECTATIONS

  • Volunteers must commit to serving the entire weekend from 10am on Friday until 3pm on Sunday.
  • Volunteers must be compliant with their (Arch) Dioceseā€™s Safe Environment policies and must have cleared a background check.
  • Volunteers must be at least 19 years old and a minimum of 6 months out of high school at the time of the conference. Prayer Team and Security Team members must be 21 years or older.
  • Volunteers must understand that they are there to serve the needs of the conference, not to participate in the conference.
  • Volunteers are expected to attend the Volunteer Mass on Friday.
  • Volunteers must wear the designated Steubenville volunteer t-shirt and wristband the entire weekend.
  • Lodging is not provided. Volunteers have the option to commute or to book hotel rooms at their own expense.
  • The following meals will be provided for volunteers: Friday lunch & dinner, Saturday lunch & dinner, Sunday lunch.
  • The expenses incurred for each volunteer to be on site at the conference equates to roughly $65. All volunteers have the opportunity to assist in covering those expenses by making an optional donation during the volunteer registration process.
