The Steubenville Youth Conferences, an outreach of Franciscan University of Steubenville, are a series of 24 conferences across North America that help teens encounter the love of Christ every summer. Each summer, Life Teen hosts several Steubenville Youth Conferences with the hopes of strengthening and inspiring teens and youth groups in their collective journeys to Christ.

In this video, Joel Stepanek gives a teaching on how the saying “you are what you eat” relates to our spiritual nourishment in the Eucharist. Joel explains some basic nutritional and dietary facts, while also talking about how our souls needs spiritual nourishment, and skipping mass and falling into sin can be like skipping a meal or gorging on junk food in attempt to find fulfillment. Joel encourages us to continue to pursue Jesus in the Eucharist and focus on our spiritual nourishment, not just to be good people, but to become what we eat.
