Who am I? Why am I here? What is the purpose of my life? What does it mean to be human?
These very questions are pivotal to our identity and how we understand both who we are and our dignity and worth. Middle school youth are beginning to explore who they are and who they want to be, and they may be wondering why they even exist. Developmentally, finding their identity is one of the biggest tasks for this age group. This Semester Planning Guide is designed to help middle school youth tackle the big questions about what it means to be human and what God has revealed to us about our humanity. It will help the youth see the origin, destiny, and dignity of every human being, so they can form their identity on the foundation of truth and discover who God created them to be.
