Windy, With a Chance of Fire The Church is Sustained and Guided by the Holy Spirit About this Life Night This night will begin and end with a similar role-play. There will be a dialogue that will go back and forth between a saint in the early Church and a modern day teenager. The purpose of this is to show how the Holy Spirit is still working in the lives of young people in a similar way that He was working in the Early Church. The night will consist of a teaching and small group discussion to emphasize the main points of this topic. The night will conclude with a commissioning ceremony where the teens will have a chance to personally respond to the call of being a disciple for the Church, led by the Holy Spirit. Goal of This Night The goal of this night is to show the relationship between the Church and the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit’s role in the Church is irreplaceable, and it is the Holy Spirit that continues to inspire the members of the Church today to proclaim the Gospel message of Jesus.
