Through the Looking Glass Our Response to Jesus About this Life Night The Gather is a game that challenges the teens to find each other through call and response while blindfolded. The Proclaim contrasts faith and sin as potential responses to God and reveals the importance of our faith community. The Break is a small group discussion to help the teens process their personal responses to God’s gift of salvation. The Send is an opportunity for the teens to examine their conscience through a quote by St. John Paul II, which is followed by a time for the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Goal of This Night The goal of Through the Looking Glass is to inspire teens to turn away from sin and respond to God with faith. Catechism # 166 # 459 # 1253 - 1254 Scripture 1 Corinthians 12:13 2 Corinthians 5:17 -21 Key Concepts Salvation is completely dependent on the work of God, but it requires us to respond with faith. Sin is the opposite response and effort of faith because it is a rejection of God and the abundant life He offers. The sacraments sustain us and help us grow in faith with a community of others who also have faith. End of Free Preview Thanks for reviewing this Life Night!
