Through the Flame A Life Night on Women in the Church About this Night The Gather is a game of hot potato with a varying consequence for the person caught with the potato. The Proclaim helps the teens understand the authority of both men and women in the Church and encourages the teens to support one another. The Break introduces the teens to strong female voices in the Church. The Send is a reflection on the roles within the Church that inspires the teens to take ownership of the ways they desire to serve others. Goal of This Night The goal of Through the Flame is to help the teens understand the necessity of equality and complementarity between men and women in the life of the Church, as well as articulate the reason for the hierarchical structure of the Church.
