The Power of Holy Desire A Life Night on why Truth, Beauty, and Goodness Matter in Sexuality About this Life Night This Life Night begins with skits in which the teens act out scenes from their life that shed light on the power desire has over their actions and how the virtue of purity enables us to choose truth, goodness, and beauty. After a brief sharing of their experience with the skits, a youth minister or Core Member gives the Proclaim and then sends the teens into small groups to discuss the role of truth, beauty, and goodness and the power of desire in their lives. Following their small groups, everyone will gather in the church to end the Life Night with a time of Eucharistic Adoration, remembering that Jesus is Author of beauty, the Source of goodness, and the one who constantly sends us out to live in the truth. Goal of This Night The goal of this Life Night is to introduce teenagers to the transcendental realities of truth, beauty, and goodness, and their role in the redemption of sexuality.
