Lex Credendi, Lex Orandi Professions of Faith About This Night The night begins with a game that tests the teens’ knowledge of the mission statements of popular companies. The Proclaim challenges the teens’ knowledge of the Church’s “mission” statement and how well they embody it in their daily lives. The teaching for the night also includes group discussions. The night closes with a time of Eucharistic Adoration and a challenge for the teens to be authentic in their faith and live the faith that they profess. Goal of This Night The goal of this Life Night is to provide teenagers with an understanding of the role creeds play (particularly the Nicene Creed) in our faith. It will challenge them to place the truths that our creeds profess at the center of their lives. These formulas unify the Church. – Our professions of faith are the grounding for our faith in Christ. To profess our creeds allows us to enter into communion with Him and with the whole Church.
