The Proclaim is strongly influenced by personal testimony and Scripture and invites teens to allow God to be their refuge in the chaos and storms of their lives. The Break is a period of extended praise and worship and Eucharistic Adoration guided by the music minister. The Send summarizes the session and challenges the teens to continue to practice silence in the presence of God. Goal of This Night To help teens recognize that silence and stillness are essential to finding Christ in the midst of the chaos and storms of their lives. Catechism # 2559 # 2585 - 2589 Scripture Matthew 14:24 -33 Psalms 46: Key Concepts – We live in a culture of distractions and instant gratifications, which become addicting and make it difficult to be present to those around us and the presence of God. – Silence and stillness are necessary to know God and to know ourselves. It is a skill we need to practice and a grace for which we need to ask. – God is our refuge in the midst of every storm. We can find Him in our storms and allow Him to give us shelter.
