Gathered To Be Sent Closing Rites, The Grace of Liturgy About this Life Night This Life Night is different from all of the previous Life Nights in this semester; it is implemented in reverse. The Life Night begins with the Send; this is done so teenagers can understand the concept that we approach Mass with the end in mind – to be sent back out. The reverse format will also help shake teenagers out of a routine for the final Life Night of the semester. The Send begins the Life Night with a time of worship and a challenge for teenagers to pray about the mission to which God may be calling them. The teenagers move into a time of small group discussion during the Break and recap some of the main concepts from the semester, as well as discuss the purpose of Mass and the mission of the Church. Teenagers hear a teaching during the Proclaim, which puts the reverse Life Night in context, and then they wrap up with the Gather and a video that is pre-recorded by members of the Core Team. Goal of This Night This Life Night helps teenagers understand that we are gathered in for Mass so we can be strengthened to go back into the world and live the mission of the Church. We must approach each Mass beginning with the end in mind; we must ask God to empower us through each Mass to be disciples in the world. End of Free Preview Thanks for reviewing this Life Night!
