= (Equal) A Life Night on Identity and Equality About this Night The Gather is a live game of Guess Who involving all of the teens. The Proclaim expresses the importance of recognizing our fundamental identity as created in the image and likeness of God and living in accordance with His natural law, ending with a Core Member testimony. The Break leads the teens through a brainstorm about the primary challenges teen guys and girls face. The Send uses the results of the brainstorm to encourage and support the teens through prayer of petition. Goal of This Night The goal of = (Equal) is to help the teens gain awareness about the different identities they take on and reveal their fundamental identity as made in the image and likeness of God. It will emphasize the dignity of every person while challenging the teens to see the importance of recognizing two genders — male and female — which are not fluid and cannot be changed.
