Distorted A Life Night on Distortions of Sexuality About this Life Night This Life Night begins with a fun Gather to break the ice. The Proclaim builds upon the teaching from the previous Life Night. It emphasizes that love is free, total, faithful, and fruitful and that any sexual act that is missing one or more of those promises is a distortion of love. The Break and Send are combined to create a significant period of time in which the teens have the opportunity to receive healing in the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Goal of This Night The goal of this Life Night is to examine why sexual acts that are not free, total, faithful, and fruitful, like sex before marriage and pornography, are distortions of love.
