DESCRIPTION
Create opportunities for discipleship and spiritual growth for middle and high school students, including but not limited to: prayer, faith study, retreats, mission trips, service-learning projects, social events, pilgrimages and fundraising.
Recruit, train and oversee volunteers of a youth ministry Leadership team.
Maintain a presence in our parish community by coordinating the Youth Mass and being part of community events.
Concurrently the youth minister should develop close communication and mutual support from the families of the youth.
Applicant should be an active practicing Catholic, registered in a parish, who embraces in word and deed the teachings of the Catholic Church.
Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church is a parish of approximately 2,300 families. We are multi-cultural and have a large Spanish speaking community.
