We seek a full-time Youth Formation and Confirmation Preparation Coordinator to join the Faith Formation Team in “forming lifelong disciples of Jesus Christ who enthusiastically participate in our Catholic Christian life.” You’ll have the unique opportunity to connect youth, their families, and many volunteers with this driving mission, walking with them as they discover and live their Catholic Christian faith.
Responsibilities include living as a disciple of Jesus Christ; collaborating with the Faith Formation Team (including Youth Leadership Coordinator) and broader staff for faithful, thoughtful, and comprehensive discipleship; cultivating relationships; calling forth, forming, supporting, and celebrating volunteers, especially catechists; coordinating and facilitating youth formation sessions (gr. 6-12), including occasional large-group sessions; coordinating wholistic Confirmation Preparation (gatherings, rites, interviews, etc.); participating in registration setup and implementation; coordinating annual blessing of graduates; collaborating with summer ministries; leading our international youth mission trip; serving as liaison to our young adult ministry; working with relevant budget; communicating effectively, promptly, and proactively.

We’re a large, active, suburban parish just outside St. Paul and Minneapolis relentlessly focusing on radical discipleship in Jesus Christ. Our faithful span all ages and interests, and we’ve just expanded this full-time position to include a part-time Youth Leadership Coordinator as well (reducing the responsibilities of each while keeping the expectations of excellent, dynamic ministry).
