Position Summary:

The Life Teen Vice President of Marketing is a pivotal leadership role responsible for architecting and driving the overarching marketing strategy of the organization. Overseeing four integral teams – Creative Design, Web, Digital Engagement/Social Media, and Resource – this position crafts campaigns that amplify Life Teen’s resources, camps, and events. With a mandate to enhance visibility and deepen engagement, the Vice President of Marketing collaborates closely with key personnel including the Creative Director, Web Director, Digital Engagement Coordinator, and Fulfillment Coordinator. As a member of the Life Teen Executive Team, this leader ensures that all marketing initiatives resonate with the organization’s mission and values, fostering a cohesive and impactful brand presence.

Essential Ministry Functions / Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Shape the overarching marketing strategy for all Life Teen offerings, ensuring alignment with its mission and values.
  • Team Oversight: Directly manage and mentor four key personnel: the Creative Director, Web Director, Digital Engagement Coordinator, and Fulfillment Coordinator.
  • Collaboration: Engage with the Life Teen Executive Team, contributing to organizational strategy discussions and ensuring cohesive branding and messaging.
  • Resource Promotion: Develop and implement marketing strategies to maximize the reach and impact of Life Teen resources.
  • Event and Camp Marketing: Drive campaigns to promote Life Teen events and camps, ensuring maximum visibility and attendance.
  • Digital Engagement: Oversee the Digital Engagement team, ensuring consistent, engaging, and on-brand messaging across all online platforms.
  • Website Management: Collaborate with the Web Director to optimize the user experience, ensuring that the website effectively communicates offerings and is easily navigable. 
  • Creative Direction: Work closely with the Creative Design Team to ensure that all marketing materials are innovative, on-brand, and resonate with the target audience.
  • Resource Team Coordination: Align with the Resource Coordinator to ensure that marketing materials and strategies effectively highlight the depth and breadth of resources available.
  • Performance Analytics: Monitor and evaluate the success of marketing campaigns, using data-driven insights to refine and optimize strategies.
  • Budget Oversight: Oversee the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and maximizing return on investment.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest marketing trends and technologies, integrating innovative solutions to ensure Life Teen remains at the forefront of youth ministry outreach.

With these responsibilities, the Vice President of Marketing plays a vital role in amplifying Life Teen’s presence, promoting its resources, and ensuring its
message resonates powerfully with its target audience.
