Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Mesa, AZ
The Social Media and Broadcast Assistant is enlivened by the idea of sharing the Gospel using all forms of digital media. From tweets to podcasts, this key position serves our mission of evangelization on the digital continent and executes on small, daily tasks to large scale projects. The position reports directly to our Coordinator of Digital Evangelization and Outreach and is part of the Parish Services division.
The Parish Services division is a group of disciples that are passionate about leading teens closer to Christ through written and digital resources and parish empowerment. We recognize that this comes with great affirmation but also great spiritual attack, criticism, and sometimes frustration with a healthy dose of writer’s block. We support each other in prayer through our victories and help each other when we fall. We strive for the best because the Gospel deserves it.
Our purpose is to lead teenagers closer to Christ and we live that purpose every day through a culture that is authentic, affirming, faithful to our primary vocation, joyful, charitable, centered in a Eucharistic-spirituality, and filled with a spirit of evangelization.
The individual that is going to succeed as the Social Media and Broadcast Assistant is highly creative, self-motivated, collaborative, and joyful. This person can inject energy into a creative process by generating innovative ideas and can also drill down on a process to complete projects on time. He or she is able to take the lead on projects with the support of a leadership team that cares about the final product but doesn’t want to micromanage creativity.
