The Role You Play
Foster a culture of evangelization and discipleship for middle school students and their families.
Leverage well-developed and best practice curriculum (i.e., Edge) to drive and execute associated ministries of religious education and youth ministry, including any sacramental preparation needed.
Partner with various Youth Ministries to develop a roadmap that connects each journey allowing for one seamless and effective experience from baptism through adulthood.
Foster an environment of community and ministry through effective programs, projects, and events by building relationships with and raising up lay leaders in the youth and parents (volunteers and catechists).
Partner with programs that serve those not yet in our pews to develop a roadmap for families seeking or returning to faith.
Work with and take responsibility for the middle school ministry support committees/teams led by parents and students who align with the SJN vision.
Who We Are
St. John Neumann Catholic Church is dedicated to its vision of being a beacon of light that draws people home. We seek to create a place of worship and refuge, sharing the love of Christ with all, and building a community that is engaged, on mission, and glorifying to God. St. John Neumann is looking for driven and passionate individuals, like you, who will use their talents to help St. John Neumann achieve our inspirational vision through three keys to parish renewal: 1) Evangelization, 2) Leadership Development (especially raising up lay leaders), and 3) Guidance by the Holy Spirit.
St. John Neumann’s driving values are Faith Propelled, Generous Love, and Radical Hospitality. We seek to embody them as a staff and encourage them in and beyond the pews.
The Disciple Development team partners with all staff and volunteers to build disciples and foster spiritual maturity through relational ministry, formation programs, and outreach opportunities. The team encourages parishioners from diverse walks at every point in their lives to know the love of Christ and the freedom in following his will.
