Marketing Director

DESCRIPTION

Position Summary:

The Marketing Director develops and overseas digital & print marketing strategies and tactics to fulfill Life Teen’s mission of leading teens closer to Christ. This role reports to the VP of Marketing, and executes marketing strategy, including email marketing, advertising, social media, and public relations.

Essential Ministry Functions / Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Marketing Leadership: Collaborate with the Vice President of Marketing to develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to promote Life Teen’s subscriptions, events & product.
  • Email Marketing & Advertising: Design and manage email marketing campaigns to drive engagement and conversions. Oversee the execution of targeted advertising campaigns. Analyze campaign performance and optimize for maximum reach and impact.
  • Social Media Management: Supervise & collaborate with the social media manager to plan and execute engaging content & campaigns aligned with the 2025 action plans and goals.
  • Public Relations & Brand Management: Assist the VP of Marketing with media inquiries and public relations efforts, including developing and maintaining relationships with Catholic and mainstream media outlets to amplify Life Teen’s mission. Ensure all marketing materials and messaging reflect the organization’s brand and values.
  • Team Collaboration & Leadership: Work closely with the Vice President of Marketing to align departmental goals with organizational priorities. Collaborate with internal departments, including the Marketing, Program Development and Camps & Missions divisions. Provide regular reports on marketing performance to the Vice President of Marketing and stakeholders.

Direct Reports to this Position: Social Media Manager

Success Factors:

  • Proven track record in email marketing, advertising, and social media management.
  • Strong understanding of Catholic theology and the mission of Life Teen.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools, analytics platforms, and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Mailchimp, Google Analytics).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively.
