Position Summary
The Summer Coordinator of Youth Outreach will be provided housing on campus with the Male BCYC Missionaries and will be provided all meals while BCYC is in session. This person will supervise the BCYC Missionary Staff. They will be the primary contact person for both internal and external constituents about anything regarding BCYC during nights and weekends when the Associate Director of College Ministry is off campus. They will also be the first point of contact for any emergencies or issues that arise in the dorms while High School students are on campus.
Essential Functions
Assist Associate Director of College Ministry for Youth Outreach in facilitating the BCYC Missionary Retreat and Training weeks, being the lead person for these events during night and weekend hours
Supervise the BCYC Missionary Team throughout the Summer.
Supervise all evening activities, events, and formational meetings during BCYC
Execute the formation plan for the men on the BCYC Missionary Team
Effectively communicate with parents of High School Students both before and during BCYC
Field all incoming phone calls from parents, security, and the events management team during most weekend and evening hours of BCYC.
Responsible for any issues that arise in the dorms overnight during BCYC
Coordinate all airport runs for BCYC
Coordinate the BCYC banquets including communication with Dining Services, the Events Management Team, and parents
Primary hours are nights and weekends, though this person should be available to be on call as needed any time a conference is in session.
