Summit reflection video for Easter Sunday in Lent with Joel Stepanek.
Covecrest is more than a retreat center and summer camp. Covecrest is a community of Catholics committed to transforming teens, transforming parishes, and transforming culture. Will you join us?
Hidden Lake is home to an incredible Catholic community, gorgeous views, welcoming meeting spaces and so much more. Dedicated to leading teens closer to Christ, we hope you'll be welcomed home to Hidden Lake soon.
The Steubenville Youth Conferences, an outreach of Franciscan University of Steubenville, are a series of 24 conferences across North America that help teens encounter the love of Christ every summer. Each summer, Life Teen hosts several Steubenville Youth Conferences with the hopes of strengthening and inspiring teens and youth groups in their collective journeys to Christ.
Life Teen’s Catholic Youth Ministry Convention has become America’s premier event for everyone involved in parish youth ministry. Why? Maybe it’s because we are different. We believe in practical, comprehensive youth ministry training. But we don’t think that’s enough. That’s why we incorporate elements of a spiritual retreat into the training convention. Because youth ministry isn’t about what you know, it’s Who you know.
There are many women who are a vital part of salvation history and their stories are critical parts of Sacred Scripture. This scriptural devotion will inspire young women to raise their heads along with Mary, Martha, Lydia, and Esther and look into the eyes of Jesus, the God who loves deeply and perfectly.
You are going to make thousands of decisions today and one of them might change your life. Are you confident that what you want and what God want are the same thing? Don’t leave it up to chance - leave it in the hands of the Holy Spirit.
Edge helps middle schoolers unleash who they were created to be, in Christ.
Life Teen strengthens our teens' Catholic identity, while rooting them firmly in Christ and in His Church.
Job Type: Full-Time Position
Location: Milford, Ohio
The Jesuit Spiritual Center is excited to share with you our Ignite Internship program. This internship is a 1-2 year paid opportunity where young adults work as members of the Youth Ministry team and live in community on the grounds of the Center in the recently renovated historic Rock House.
The Ignite Internship’s primary focus is youth retreat ministry. Interns develop a variety of skills including planning, preparation, facilitating and evaluating retreats; facilitating small and large groups that includes faith sharing and personal witness; developing public speaking and presentation skills; learning technical skills and creating content for our virtual retreat ministry; and gaining practical business experiences as they learn the inner workings of a small non-profit organization.
For over 90 years, the Jesuit Spiritual Center at Milford has enriched the spiritual life of those seeking God through prayer, reflection and quiet discernment. It is here that people come to strengthen their relationship with God, and to experience God’s presence in the everyday experiences of their lives.
Today the Center provides spiritual opportunities to over 13,000 people a year. The Ignatian Weekend Retreats, that began in 1929, continue to offer a traditional, preached experience modeled on the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius. The Personally Directed Retreats, lasting up to eight days, offer retreatants a quiet, solitary time of introspection and prayer guided by an experienced spiritual director. The Center offers a 30-day retreat for those individuals longing to fully engage the Spiritual Exercise in their lives and decisions.
The Center has a very vibrant youth ministry program. Building on the spiritual formation already undertaken by parents, parishes and schools, the team provides Catholic driven retreats for students grade K-12 traveling to schools, parishes or hosting them at the Center. Tens of thousands of youth have made retreats at the Jesuit Spiritual Center and upon leaving, many of them voice the same sentiment – they are encouraged that they are not alone, that others think and feel as they do, and are encouraged that in all their thoughts, questions and doubts, God is with them.
The Jesuit Spiritual Center also offers a spiritual direction internship program and the multi-use facilities provide rental venues for faith-based organizations to host their own retreats.
If you know of someone who may be interested, applications are now being accepted and can be found at www.jesuitspiritualcenter.com/internship.
