Individual Missionary or Missionary Family
COMPANY: Family Missions Company
LOCATION: Various Locations around the World

DESCRIPTION

A full-time missionary (individual or family) is a lay, Catholic, disciple of Jesus Christ, who will serve for two or more years in one of our foreign mission posts. The initial two-year term begins after the completion of fundraising and Intake Training. Currently, our missionaries serve in Peru, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Mexico, the Philippines, and other countries in Asia. Missionaries fulfill the Great Commission (Mark 16:15; Matthew 28:19) by preaching the Gospel, serving the poor, and making disciples of all nations. This mission flows out of your relationship with the God who loves you, and your identity in Him. Individual missionaries serve on mission teams, sometimes alongside missionary families. A missionary family is considered a team of their own, sometimes serving alongside another family or a team of individual missionaries. Missionaries fundraise their own salary while working with a fundraising coach. Applicants should have an interest in learning a language and living in another culture. For individuals, particular formation will be given on conflict resolution and other tools for team life. For families, particular formation will be given for both parents and children.
