DESCRIPTION
Accountable for the planning, implementation, delivery and sustainability of the Middle School Edge and Confirmation programs
Report to the director of youth ministry (DYM)
Develop and build effective working relationships with teens, parents, volunteers, and parish team to ensure successful operation of Edge and Confirmation programs and related activities.
Oversee and manage required records and information for the Edge and Confirmation programs.
This position entails frequent evening and weekend work.
EXPERIENCE + EDUCATION
Active, practicing Catholic
Two to three years of experience in catechetical ministry preferred, knowledgeable of church organization dynamics.
Strong program development skills and ability to independently manage multiple projects.
Demonstrated ability to achieve results through others while providing direction and hands-on support.
Work on basic and advanced certifications within the Archdiocese of Atlanta
Personal attributes: integrity, dependability, positive demeanor, initiative, stress tolerance, adaptability
Past experience with youth ministry and/or Life Teen-Edge programs is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
