Title: Coordinator of Youth Ministry and Youth Director

Coordinator of Youth Ministry and Youth Director
Primary Purpose and Objective To Provide to the youth of our Parish:
To develop relationships with the youth of our Parish by offering access, interaction, and leadership.
To be accountable to and maintain communication with the Pastor and Parish Business Administrator.
To provide encounters with Christ for the teens in your program – this could include: organizing and executing an annual retreat and/or camp/mission trip; organizing Eucharistic adoration nights, etc.
Assist with the management of the Religious Education office as requested by the Pastor.
To mentor Middle School Youth Minister in planning effective and engaging youth nights.
Office work will be treated as a professional with flexible office hours as needed to do required paperwork and return phone calls and arrange for fulfillment of various duties of the position.
Full compliance to all of the Safe Environment rules of the Diocese of Shreveport and the Virtus requirements in Protecting God’s Children must be followed at all times.
