DIRECTOR OF YOUTH MINISTRY
Holy Infant Parish, Ballwin, MO is seeking an energetic individual to serve as full-time Director of Youth Ministry. Candidate will continue to coordinate and direct our high school youth ministry program, as well as a middle school youth ministry program for our junior high students. We are seeking a confirmed, practicing Roman Catholic in good standing with the Church who has a great knowledge and love of our Catholic faith with the ability to lead our youth closer to Christ. Candidate must be a team player and possess strong leadership and organizational skills. Experience with Catholic youth ministry is necessary.
Level of education: Bachelor’s degree in Theology, Catholic Studies, Education, or related field preferred, OR equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Full-time (40 hours)
High School Program (Life Teen)
Plan, budget, coordinate and implement weekend retreats and evenings of prayer reflection, including, but not limited to:
Middle School Program (EDGE) Plan, budget, and lead a middle school youth ministry program for grades 7-8, utilizing the EDGE resources to plan bi-weekly meetings, EDGE Café, Life Teen Summer Camp, and other activities. Visit classrooms and coordinate activities with teachers for school/PSR students.
Core Team
As leader of the Core Team, the youth minister recruits adult volunteers and is responsible for coordinating their activities. The Core Team is comprised of adult volunteers who assist the youth minister and are an advisory group for high school and junior high ministry. The youth minister coordinates regular meetings for prayer and planning, as well as the spiritual growth of the Core Team. The youth minister is responsible for assuring that adults who have contact with minors in conjunction with parish’s youth ministry programs are in compliance with the Archdiocesan Safe Environment Program through communication with parish coordinator.
Administration
Maintains all necessary financial, office, and program records; establishes and maintains budget approved by Pastor in consultation with Finance Committee; Participates in parish staff and other administrative meetings.

Education:
Level of education: Bachelor’s degree in Theology, Catholic Studies, Education, or related field preferred, OR equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Current and ongoing training in Catholic Theology, Liturgy, Spirituality, and Social Teaching
Prevent and Protect STL:
The Youth Minister is required to be in compliance with Prevent and Protect STL and ensure that adults (18+) who have contact with minors are in compliance too.
Compensation: Salaried position, commensurate with archdiocesan pay schedule and experience. Employee Benefits in accordance with archdiocesan personnel policies.
Holy Infant Catholic Church is a vibrant parish located in Ballwin, Missouri which is a suburb of St. Louis. We have nearly 3000 families in our parish. We have a school for grades pre-school through eighth grade with close to 500 students. We have a Parish School of Religion with over 300 students. Our Youth Ministry consists of our Life Teen group which serves our high school age students and our EDGE group which serves our junior high (7th & 8th grade) students.
