Are you looking for a way to use your design talents to bring more souls to Christ? Catholic Mission Trips, Inc. (CMT) is looking for an individual whose passion for the work and mission of CMT makes everyone want to be part of the mission. The ideal Director of Marketing and Recruitment candidate will have marketing or sales experience, passion for the mission of CMT, and excellent follow-through.

Compensation Package:

  • Salary is fundraised. Must be fully funded before beginning ministry.
  • Healthcare or other benefits not provided
  • Travel expenses for conferences

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Graphic Designer to create a marketing plan and budget to be approved by the Executive Director.
  • Website SEO
  • Grow Backlinks
  • Increase traffic to the website
  • Maintain website
  • Online presence maintained with regular posts on all social media accounts
  • Google Ads for Nonprofits
  • CMT blog
  • Facebook
  • Instagram
  • YouTube
  • Staff Recruitment
  • Register for, prepare for, and capture leads at SEEK and other conferences
  • Follow up with conference leads
  • Present mission opportunities at college Catholic centers, ministry and mission fairs, career fairs, and young adult groups
  • Email and call campus ministers
  • Group/Parish Marketing
  • Develop and implement an outreach/marketing plan to promote our mission trips and increase brand awareness in church youth ministry programs across the US.
  • Register for, prepare for, and capture leads at Thriveanooga and other conferences
  • Follow up with conference leads
  • Utilize NFCYM’s Bi-weekly email newsletter to promote CMT Trips (24 times a year)
  • Utilize NFCYM’s Quarterly “Connected” mailing that goes to 28K+ parish youth ministry.
  • Knights of Columbus Partnership (NEW)
  • Develop and implement an outreach/marketing plan to recruit local, state, and national K of C councils to partner with CMT.
  • For specific projects (Clean Water well, home renovation), 20K
  • For recruitment of parish groups to come on mission trips
  • For recruitment of Knights to serve as contractors
  • For yearly funding partners
  • Catholic School Partner Program (NEW)
  • Develop and implement an outreach for Catholic School fundraising
  • Backpacks Across Borders
  • Sponsor a School
  • Sponsor a Teacher

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work independently and as a team player
  • Attention to detail
  • Thorough understanding of the CMT mission and vision
  • Proficiency with Google for Nonprofits or Office Suite, Dubsado or customer relationship management (CRM) software, posting on WordPress and social media
  • Expertise with design software
  • Experience in Email marketing, Bulk Text, and Bulk mailing a plus
  • Experience in Video marketing a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to travel for conferences
  • Passion for mission work, youth ministry, and the Catholic Church
ABOUT PARISH/ SCHOOL/ ORGANIZATION

Catholic Mission Trips, Inc., where we equip Catholics with the call to be missionary disciples. Catholic Mission Trips, Inc. had its beginnings in 1999. Inspired by St. Mother Teresa and Pope St. John Paul II, Steve Nasche, a Youth Director for a Catholic Parish, wanted to make a mission trip to let American youth experience the culture and spirituality of Mexico. Soon after, Steve had other catholic parishes joining him. Thus, the concept of Catholic Mission Trips began. We have since become a full-service ministry and lead mission trips for young people worldwide! We understand that many people would love to go on a mission trip but don’t have any connections or think it’s too difficult to plan. That is where Catholic Mission Trips, Inc. comes in. We do the planning and handle all the logistics for you. All the parish group needs to do is sign up and come. We handle everything else. We make it easy for groups to have a life-changing mission trip experience.
