Director of Faith Formation and Evangelization
COMPANY: St. Paul Catholic Church
LOCATION: Mosinee, WI

DESCRIPTION

I am looking for a director of grades 1-10 Faith Formation and Evangelization who has a heart for sharing the “Good News” and helping people grow as disciples of Jesus Christ and His Church. This individual will build and administer a total catechetical and evangelization ministry program for St. Paul Mosinee; form and prepare students and their parents for the reception of the Sacraments and assist the parish community in developing a solid foundation for authentic relationship with Jesus Christ, Christian living, and evangelization.
This position has plenty of room for creativity and ingenuity as our vibrant parish continues to grow. First and foremost, as a parish family we are about giving God right worship and praise in love. This individual will help the pastor form a family of disciples where all members know they belong at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, their home.

• A person with a heart for evangelization, youth ministry, and faith formation
• A committed prayer life, both personally and within a parish community
• Bachelor’s degree in theology or equivalent preferred from an accredited college or university
• Experience working in Catholic education, catechesis, and/or youth ministry
• Knowledgeable of Sacred Scripture, the Catechism of the Catholic Church, and Catholic teaching
• Ability to organize, prioritize, manage multiple priorities, and work with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication, collaboration, leadership and mentoring skills
• Advanced Certification in the Diocese of La Crosse (or committed to attaining it promptly after hire)
• Familiarity and conformity with the guidelines and policies of the Diocese of La Crosse
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience in public speaking preferred
